Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your Shift Lot subscription at any time through your dealer account dashboard or by contacting our support team. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to your account and listings through the end of the paid month.

2. Refund Eligibility

No refunds for completed billing periods: Shift Lot does not refund subscription fees for months already paid or services already rendered.

New account trial (if applicable): If Shift Lot offers a trial period or introductory pricing, you may cancel during the trial and not be charged, provided you cancel before the trial ends.

Billing error: If you believe you were charged in error, please contact our support team immediately with details. We will investigate and correct genuine billing errors.

3. How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription by:

  • Logging into your dealer account and canceling from the billing settings
  • Emailing support@shiftlot.com with your account details and cancellation request

4. Data and Listings After Cancellation

After your subscription ends:

  • Your dealer account will be marked as inactive
  • Your active listings will be removed from the public marketplace
  • You may re-activate your account by renewing your subscription at any time with the same plan or a different one
  • We will retain your account data for a reasonable period; contact us to discuss data retrieval or permanent deletion

5. Refund of Unused Subscription Time

Shift Lot subscriptions are non-refundable, including partial months. Your subscription is valid through the end of the billing period you paid for, regardless of when you cancel.

6. Payment Method and Disputes

If you believe a charge is unauthorized or incorrect, you can:

  • Contact Shift Lot support to request a refund review
  • Dispute the charge with your payment processor or credit card company if Shift Lot cannot resolve the issue

7. Plan Upgrades and Changes

If you upgrade to a higher-tier plan mid-month, you will be prorated based on the difference. If you downgrade to a lower-tier plan, your change takes effect at your next renewal date, and no refund is issued for the remainder of your current billing period.

8. Service Interruptions

Shift Lot does not refund for temporary service interruptions, downtime, or service issues beyond our control. We maintain a reasonable service level and work to resolve any issues promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

Shift Lot may update this refund policy at any time. Changes will apply to future subscriptions and renewals. Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the new policy.
